Pakistan Launching First Satellite

satellite

More than sixty years of independence, Pakistan has gain many achievements in almost every field, whether it is weapon design and productivity, sports, arts or any other modern day technology. Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Commission (SUPARCO), has revealed the details of the oncoming new invention of Pakistanis, that is the satellite. Once again, acquaintance ally, China has supported Pakistan in this field also. The basic work of the satellite is the communication and networking.

Dr. Muhammad Riaz Suddle, the Director of SUPARCO said that the life time of the satellite would be 15 years. He further added some more details about the satellite launching by giving the date, the satellite will be launched on 14th August 2011. The satellite will use the geostationary orbit, and acquire a constant height of 36,000 Km above the surface of earth crust. The name of the satellite was also revealed, and it is named as Paksat-1R. It will carry the communication pay-load that consists of internet broadband, TV channels distributions, tele-medicine and tele-education. The total cost that is estimated in the whole project is not revealed by the organization, as according to them, there are further more parallel projects that are running. Therefore, estimation of the total cost is bit more complex and difficult. According to the authorities, the work on the project is started with full bloom, and the measurements are taken to make it perfect and a long term loans are also made for this type of project. The loans are most probably being taken on concessional basis from Chinese government.

As per the technology achievements in the region, Pakistan has to make fast and competitive progress in the technology of space sciences. Some more satellites would also be launched in the next years by Pakistan, said Mr. Suddle. It is a right time for Pakistan to make such progresses while the eyes of the whole world are on us. Making suspicious predictions about the future of Pakistan, even many high ranked officials does not estimate the correct strength of the core Pakistan defense. Pakistan would most likely to launch satellites until now, but the necessity of the missile technology has made Pakistan a nuclear technology holder and with a undeniable defense system. In future such contributions, that make the Pakistan in every field a proud one, will be made and always be made for not only to assist Pakistani nation but to give a big helping hand to whole humanity, Inshallah.
